Key Responsibilities :
1. Procurement Planning
- Identify the goods and services required by the institution.
- Develop and implement procurement plans in alignment with organizational needs.
2. Supplier Selection
Evaluate, select, and approve suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing.3. Purchase Orders
Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and timely.Ensure all procurement activities comply with institutional policies and procedures.4. Contract Management
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts.Ensure adherence to contractual terms and resolve any disputes.5. Supplier Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.6. Recordkeeping
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier databases.Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.7. Continuous Improvement
Monitor market trends and recommend improvements in procurement processes.Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices in sourcing and purchasing.Educational Qualification :
