Linux + VCS

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux + VCS (Veritas Cluster Server) Professional to provide 24x7 production support and act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team. You will be responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis, investigating and resolving database performance issues, and leading crisis calls. This role requires expertise in maintaining complex High Availability & Replication setups and a focus on identifying and developing automation opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Provide 24x7 production support for Linux / VCS environments, serving as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Investigate and provide solutions to database performance related issues .
• Lead teams in crisis calls, participate in MIR (Major Incident Review) and PIR (Post-Incident Review) calls, and mentor team members.
• Maintain complex High Availability & Replication setups .
• Provide consultancy for complex setups and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Identify automation and Self-Healing opportunities and develop automation to reduce manual efforts and standardize processes.
• Build and maintain Linux servers .
• Ensure the stability and reliability of the production environment.
• Proactively monitor systems to prevent incidents.
