Job Summary (List Format) – Manager / Senior Manager – Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oversee and manage end-to-end supply chain functions, including procurement, vendor management, logistics, inventory control, and distribution.
- Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Manage purchase order (PO) generation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors; negotiate favorable commercial and contractual terms.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure reliable supply quality and service.
- Ensure smooth, timely material dispatches and manage logistics to meet customer and project requirements.
- Monitor logistics operations for cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with regulations (e.g., E-way bills, challans).
- Lead material planning, stocking, and distribution processes to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Maintain and review stock reports for precise inventory tracking and control.
- Implement best practices for warehouse and material management.
- Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and ensure timely payment processing in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Generate and analyze SCM-related MIS reports and key metrics for management decision-making.
- Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational goals, driving continuous process improvements.
- Optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time across all supply chain functions.
- Utilize ERP / SCM software and advanced MS Excel for effective supply chain management and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to large-scale projects and strategic decisions.
