Position Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Product Manager Financial Planning & InsurTech Software to lead the development and enhancement of financial planning modules within our InsurTech suite.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, actuarial experts, and sales to define and deliver solutions that meet customer and regulatory needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch for financial planning features within our InsurTech platforms.
  • Understand and translate financial planning and insurance domain requirements into product features.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs.
  • Gather, prioritize, and manage product requirements from stakeholders (clients, users, internal teams).
  • Create detailed product requirement documents (PRDs), wireframes, and user stories.
  • Collaborate with UX / UI designers to create intuitive, compliant, and customer-friendly experiences.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to drive implementation and timely delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance standards, including IRDAI norms and financial regulations.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Measure product success through KPIs, user adoption, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally and represent the product in client demos, sales, and marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (CS),or M.tech (CS)+ (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in financial or insurance software products.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment products, and insurance workflows.
  • Experience with InsurTech software or digital insurance platforms.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics and metrics tracking.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in an InsurTech startup or enterprise SaaS platform.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (IRDAI, SEBI) and compliance best practices.
  • Exposure to AI / ML use cases in risk profiling, claims prediction, or customer segmentation.
