Sales & Marketing Manager

Title : Sales and Marketing Manager

Location : Kemps, Corner, Mumbai

Experience : 15+ years (Manufacturing / Industrial / Chemical Sector)

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our business development and customer relationship initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in industrial product sales, team management, and strategic market development — with a strong background in manufacturing, valves, strainers, fasteners, or oil & gas sectors. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth, building lasting client relationships, and developing business strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.

Key responsibilities :

Strategic Planning

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term business plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Create annual sales strategies and budgets to ensure consistent business growth.
  • Identify new market segments and revenue opportunities.

Sales & Marketing / Business Development

  • Lead tender and contract bidding strategies to secure new business opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and ensure professional follow-ups.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations for new and existing clients.
  • Manage contract bookings and oversee sales processes end-to-end.

  • Coordinate and execute sales events, exhibitions, and product promotions.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer databases.
  • Ensure brand consistency and promote awareness of the company’s products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
  • Drive payment collections and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery and service quality norms.
  • Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales and marketing team to achieve performance targets.
  • Guide sales techniques, product knowledge, and business communication.
  • Support in the recruitment and onboarding of new sales team members.
  • Other Deliverables

  • Represent the company in industry seminars and events to strengthen brand positioning.
  • Maintain relationships with key decision-makers across target industries.
  • Support the preparation of tender documentation and other business compliance requirements.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales / Marketing within the manufacturing or industrial products sector.
  • Proven experience handling teams and managing large client accounts.
  • Strong understanding of industrial equipment and components such as valves, strainers, fasteners, or related products.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Sound knowledge of tendering processes, B2B sales, and market strategy formulation.
