Job description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SuccessFactors Specialist with proven hands-on expertise in SuccessFactors configuration, integrations, and module implementation (LMS, PMGM, C&B). The role demands strong technical knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors architecture, role-based permissions, data management, and integration frameworks with SAP HCM / S4 and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities Expertise & Configuration :

Configure and customize SuccessFactors submodules :

  • Learning Management System (LMS) : Curriculum setup, item classification, assignment profiles, scheduled offerings, and reporting.
  • Performance & Goal Management (PMGM) : Goal plan templates, performance forms, calibration sessions, continuous performance management setup.
  • Compensation & Benefits (C&B) : Compensation templates, salary / bonus / stock plans, eligibility rules, and compensation worksheets.
  • Develop and maintain Business Rules, XML templates, and workflow designs.
  • Implement and manage Role-Based Permissions (RBP), including role hierarchies, permission groups, and data access control.

Implementation & Lifecycle Management :

Deliver at least 1 full end-to-end lifecycle SuccessFactors implementation, including :

  • Requirements gathering, blueprinting, fit-gap analysis.
  • System configuration, sandbox testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Data migration strategy, cutover planning, and go-live execution.
  • Hypercare support and post-go-live optimization.
  • Manage bi-annual SuccessFactors release cycles (release notes review, regression testing, feature enablement).
  • Integration & Data Management :

  • Design, build, and maintain interfaces between SuccessFactors and SAP HCM / S4, Payroll, and 3rd party HRIS applications.
  • Hands-on experience with middleware tools (SAP CPI, SAP PI / PO, Dell Boomi, or MuleSoft) for real-time and batch integrations.
  • Implement and optimize data migration processes using tools such as SAP SuccessFactors Integration Center, SAP CPI, and SAP HCM Migration Templates.
  • Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and error handling mechanisms in inbound / outbound interfaces.
  • Security & Compliance :

  • Configure and maintain Role-Based Permission (RBP) framework for granular user-level access.
  • Ensure compliance with IT Security principles (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR) and internal data protection policies.
  • Support audit requirements by maintaining traceability, audit logs, and access reviews.
  • Analytics & Reporting :

  • Develop Ad Hoc Reports, Canvas Reports, and ORD dashboards for HR analytics.
  • Optimize performance metrics and compliance reporting across modules.
  • Technical Skills Required :

  • Core SuccessFactors Expertise : LMS, PMGM, C&B (configuration, customization, and end-to-end implementation).
  • Integration Tools & Frameworks : SAP CPI, PI / PO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Web Services (SOAP / REST), OData APIs.
  • Data Migration : SuccessFactors templates, SAP CPI Data Services, Integration Center.
  • Security & Compliance : Role-Based Permissions (RBP), GDPR compliance, IT security protocols.
  • Reporting Tools : Ad Hoc Reporting, ORD, Advanced Reporting, Canvas Reports.
  • System Management : Release management, regression testing, transport management in SuccessFactors provisioning.
  • General Tech Stack Knowledge : SAP HCM, S / 4HANA, Payroll, Employee Central (EC).
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or HR Tech-related field.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Certified in at least one core module (LMS, PMGM, C&B preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SuccessFactors project experience.
  • Proven track record in at least 1 end-to-end SuccessFactors lifecycle implementation.
  • Strong background in integration, data security, and HR digital transformation.
  • Preferred Add-Ons :

  • Knowledge of Employee Central (EC) and Recruitment Management / Onboarding.
  • Experience in Agile / DevOps methodologies for HRIS projects.
  • Exposure to global HR transformation projects in multi-country implementations.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
