Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Proposal Support

Review RFQs, tender documents, and client specifications for Electrical & Automation projects.
Develop detailed cost estimates covering :
Electrical Systems : MCC, PCC, switchgear, drives, LV panels, cabling.
Automation Systems : PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, MES, IIoT, instruments.
Engineering & Services : design, programming, FAT / SAT, commissioning, site services.
Liaise with procurement and vendors for material pricing.
Support sales team with techno-commercial proposals and bid clarifications.
Travel to site

Project Planning & Execution

Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.

Lead design, development, panel manufacturing, testing, and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, automation standards, and client specifications.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, vendors, and site teams for smooth execution.

Deliver projects on-time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Budget & Status Tracking

Prepare and monitor project budgets (engineering hours, material, subcontractors, site costs).

Track Planned vs. Actual costs and progress; manage variances.

Use project management tools (Zoho Projects, MS Project, ERP) for schedule and budget control.

Maintain milestone and KPI dashboards (SPI, CPI, RAG indicators).

Provide periodic project and financial status reports to management and customers.

Customer Ownership & Relationship Management

Act as the single point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure proactive communication, transparency, and issue resolution.

Build long-term relationships to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Manage customer expectations regarding scope, cost, timelines, and deliverables.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.

7–10 years of experience in Electrical & Industrial Automation projects .

Strong background in estimation, costing, and project delivery .

Knowledge of automation platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, ABB, AVEVA, Ignition, etc.).

Familiarity with electrical standards (IEC / IS), panel design, and protection systems .

Proficiency in MS Excel, Zoho, or ERP tools for costing, budgeting, and tracking.

PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
