Job Title : Solar Design Engineer (Mid-Level)

Location : Mumbai (with site visits)

Job Summary :

TrueSun Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Solar Design Engineer to lead on-site assessments and prepare detailed solar PV system designs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial rooftop projects and a strong understanding of structural design and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities :

Collect information from site engineer
Design solar layouts using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and PVsyst.
Ensure designs meet load, wind, and safety standards.
Optimize system design for aesthetics, performance, and cost.
Coordinate with the execution team for design validation and updates.
Prepare GA drawings, shading analysis, and cable routing layouts.
Check the site while execution if they adhere to all civil and electrical drawings
Stay updated with industry standards.

Qualifications :

Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

2–5 years of experience in rooftop solar design (India-specific) .

Strong skills in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Excel.

Attention to detail and passion for sustainable design.
