Role Overview

The First Mile Logistics Executive will manage and oversee all first-mile operations—from warehouse pack to ship—ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective transportation of goods. The role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and collaboration with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to maintain a seamless supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Track shipments from packing to connection, ensuring smooth movement through all stages of the first-mile process.
• Monitor on-time pickup of shipments from vendors and warehouses.
• Coordinate with courier partners to ensure timely connection of shipments to the next leg of the journey.
• Monitor system dashboards and logistics portals for live status and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with warehouse, courier, and operations teams to resolve first-mile delays or exceptions (missed pickups, RTOs, connection issues).
• Maintain daily pickup performance and delay reports, with escalation tracking.
• Support and ensure smooth execution of RTO inbound processes, including receiving, system updates, and documentation.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance first-mile efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and SLAs at all times.
