Position Summary

We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on, and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team in Pune. The ideal candidate will combine financial mastery with an entrepreneurial spirit — someone who thrives in dynamic environments, drives transformation, and positions the company for sustained global growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Investor and Stakeholder Relations

Represent Digikore to investors, analysts, and institutional stakeholders.

Communicate financial strategy, performance, and long-term vision transparently.

Partner closely with shareholders, the board, and regulatory bodies.

2. Regulatory Compliance and Coordination

Ensure full compliance with Indian and international taxation, SEBI / NSE, transfer pricing, labour laws, and other statutory frameworks.

Expert in cross-border compliance and reporting requirements, including oversight for foreign subsidiaries and international financial structuring.

Liaise effectively with global consultants, auditors, and regulatory agencies.

3. Financial Strategy and Management

Lead all financial operations including accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and reporting.

Drive financial strategy to optimize margins, strengthen liquidity, and fuel growth.

Establish strong internal controls and compliance systems across geographies.

4. Risk, Audit & Cash Flow Management

Implement risk frameworks to safeguard assets and mitigate financial exposure.

Oversee internal and external audits for accuracy and governance.

Ensure efficient working capital, fund utilization, and timely receivable collection.

5. Fundraising & Financial Partnerships

Build and manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions.

Lead funding rounds, QIP / preferential issues, and strategic financial planning.

Structure and negotiate capital arrangements to minimize cost and maximize ROI.

6. Leadership & Team Development

Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance and accounts team.

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position (Head / Co-Head of Finance), preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.

Proven success in financial strategy, cross-border structuring, and compliance for foreign subsidiaries.

Proven track record of success in financial management, strategic planning, and driving business results.

Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulatory requirements, with the ability to apply them in a dynamic business environment.

Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound recommendations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.

Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis tools, and ERP systems.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving change in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience in media, entertainment, or high-growth technology sectors is a plus.

CA / CPA / CFA or MBA (Finance) strongly preferred.
