Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the evaluation and management of patients undergoing primary and revision joint replacement surgeries (hip, knee, shoulder).
- Participate actively in pre-operative planning, intraoperative surgical assistance, and post-operative patient care.
- Gain hands-on experience in advanced arthroplasty techniques under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Perform ward rounds, manage inpatient care, and attend outpatient clinics to monitor patient progress and recovery.
- Engage in surgical exposure for both elective and trauma-related joint surgeries.
- Contribute to academic discussions, case presentations, journal reviews, and departmental CMEs.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in research activities and publications as part of academic growth during the fellowship.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and hospital protocols to maintain patient safety and care quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
MS / DNB in Orthopaedics from a recognized institution.2 to 4 years of post-graduate experience in Orthopaedics, preferably with exposure to joint replacement surgeries.Strong interest in pursuing a career in arthroplasty and joint reconstruction.Excellent clinical and surgical aptitude, with commitment to learning and academic development.Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and follow structured training.Skills Required
