Primary Title : Interventional Cardiologist
Industry : Healthcare — Tertiary care / Cardiology services. We are recruiting for a high-volume, on-site interventional cardiology role in India focused on delivering advanced coronary and vascular interventions, acute coronary syndrome care, and cath‑lab-led procedural excellence across tertiary-care settings.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and perform diagnostic coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) including primary PCI for STEMI and complex coronary lesions as the primary operator.
- Plan and execute image-guided interventions using IVUS and OCT to optimise stent selection, deployment and outcomes.
- Manage acute cardiac emergencies (STEMI / ACS) in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams—triage, decision-making and procedural execution.
- Oversee cath lab workflows : pre-procedure planning, device inventory, radiation safety, and post-procedure clinical handover.
- Perform vascular access (radial and femoral) and advanced techniques including rotational / atherectomy where indicated; use mechanical circulatory support when required.
- Document procedures, contribute to morbidity & mortality reviews, and mentor junior cardiology staff and trainees on best practice and procedural safety.
