The Executive Assistant (EA) to the Managing Director will provide high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the MD's office. The role requires a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and act as a trusted liaison between the MD and internal / external stakeholders.
Key Roles & Responsibilities :
- Manage the MD's calendar, schedule meetings, and ensure effective time management.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence on behalf of the MD.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, including emails and phone calls.
- Organize and follow up on meetings, ensuring minutes are recorded and action points are tracked.
- Handle confidential documents and information with discretion.
- Assist in strategic planning, project coordination, and performance monitoring across departments.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and itineraries.
- Serve as the point of contact between the MD and department heads, clients, and vendors.
- Support HR, admin, and operational functions as directed by the MD.
- Maintain accurate filing systems and ensure data accuracy for reports and documentation.
- Manage task tracking and follow-up to ensure timely completion of key business activities.
Qualifications & Skills Required :
Graduate or Postgraduate degree (preferably in Business Administration, Commerce, or related field).Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive matters with diplomacySkills Required
