Job descriptionBachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5-7+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 1 + years in a lead / mentorship role . Strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux (or other state management tools) . Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS / LESS, and responsive web design principles . Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integration with backend services . Proficiency in frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.) and package managers (npm, yarn). Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.). Experience in performance optimization, accessibility (WCAG / ARIA), and SEO best practices. Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git, and agile development practices. Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and communication skills. Knowledge of Next.js or other SSR frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with micro-frontends and modular architectures. Exposure to design systems and UI libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS). Contribution to open-source projects or personal portfolio of frontend projects.
Role Overview :
We are looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer with strong expertise in React.js and JavaScript to lead and mentor a team of frontend developers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building scalable, high-performance web applications while ensuring best practices in code quality, UI / UX, and performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of frontend developers in delivering high-quality web applications.
- Own the design and development of scalable, reusable, and maintainable front-end components using React.js, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks .
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and performance optimizations .
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across the team.
- Drive adoption of new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
- Manage project timelines, technical debt, and provide technical leadership in architecture discussions.
- Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and cross-browser / device compatibility.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development, React ecosystem, and JavaScript frameworks .
