Role Overview

As a Mobile Automation Engineer, you will drive high-quality mobile app development through fully automated testing.

Using Java and Appium, you’ll design, build, and maintain reliable automation frameworks that integrate with CI / CD pipelines.

You'll collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure mobile applications are performant, and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS mobile apps using Java + Appium.

Integrate automation suites into CI / CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).

Debug and troubleshoot flaky tests on real devices and emulators / simulators.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scope, acceptance criteria, and quality gates.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in mobile automation testing using Java.

Proven expertise with Appium for Android / iOS.

Hands-on experience building automation frameworks and writing maintainable test code.

Familiarity with mobile QA fundamentals : device farms, simulators, performance testing.

Solid understanding of mobile OS internals and app architectures.

Excellent debugging capabilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
