Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position based in Ahmedabad for a CNC Shop Supervisor & Programmer. The CNC Programmer & Supervisor is responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating CNC programs to achieve precise and efficient machining of components. The role requires strong technical expertise in CAD / CAM software, programming, and machining processes to support production needs. Overseeing day-to-day CNC operations, ensuring smooth workflow, machine utilization, and achievement of production targets. The role involves managing a team of operators, coordinating with the planning and quality teams, and driving productivity while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and generate CNC programs for all machines to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve queries raised by machine operators.
• Maintain cleanliness and uphold safety standards across the CNC shop floor.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance for all CNC machines to minimize downtime.
• Oversee manpower management within the CNC Department, including recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Ensure the quality of machined components aligns with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize machining operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production metrics, machine maintenance activities, and employee performance records.
• Manage inventory and records of tools, inserts, and cutters within the shop floor.
• Design and develop fixtures to streamline machining processes and reduce cycle times.
