Assistant Manager - Industrial Design

Objective :

A Product Designer with minimum 3-5 years of Experience in Tangible Product design. The role of the Assistant Manager (ID) is to work with a team of Industrial designers to develop solutions for Housewares and Consumer oriented everyday products. He / she must have a Strong sense of Aesthetics, Usability with global trends in Product Design. Good skills in CAD and knowledge in Plastic Manufacturing is must.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & develop product designs with a strong focus on physical form and aesthetics.

Create detailed 3D models and high-quality renders using SolidWorks and KeyShot.

Translate ideas into compelling presentations using MS Office, Adobe Illustrator / CorelDraw, and Photoshop.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

Work on plastic product design with a clear understanding of plastic engineering and manufacturing processes.

Stay updated with market trends and emerging technologies to bring innovation into design.

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept to execution.

Competencies / Skills :

Proficient in CAD tools, especially SolidWorks.

Skilled in 3D rendering using KeyShot.

Strong knowledge of plastic materials and manufacturing techniques.

Experience with Autodesk Alias for concept modeling is a plus.

Excellent visualization, ideation, and presentation skills.

Capable of managing time and priorities effectively.

Qualification & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product / industrial design
