Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Sales Manager to spearhead the conversion of global leads into confirmed orders for SecureLoad, the world’s first web-based loading computer and stowage planner. This senior role serves as the anchor point for all global BDMs, ensuring that every lead generated is nurtured, followed up, and guided through the complete sales cycle from demo to quotation, purchase order, and payment realization.

In addition to driving sales, the Lead Sales Manager will play a strategic role in shaping sales processes, setting up in-house CRM systems, and developing long-term customer engagement strategies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in maritime or B2B software sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trust with clients across diverse global markets.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Act as the central sales driver, ensuring all leads generated by global BDMs are actively followed up and converted into business.
  • Own the complete sales cycle — lead follow-up, client engagement, demo coordination / delivery, quotation preparation, PO closure, and payment collection
  • Conduct or support software demos when required to showcase SecureLoad to prospects.
  • Collaborate with BDMs worldwide, providing strategic direction and sales support to maximize lead conversion.
  • Draft, review, and manage commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Engage with global clients via multiple communication channels (email, video calls, in-person at exhibitions).
  • Work closely with management to develop and refine sales strategy and KPIs.
  • Lead the setup and implementation of the company’s Sales CRM and internal sales systems to streamline processes.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring excellent communication, responsiveness, and after-sales engagement.
  • Ensure high lead-to-order conversion rates and timely payment realization
  • Represent SecureLoad at global exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Marine, Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in B2B software sales or maritime industry sales.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales and consultative selling.
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value deals and managing complete sales cycles.
  • Strong ability to conduct professional product demos and client presentations.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong negotiation, follow-up, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office tools.

  • Multilingual proficiency and experience engaging with clients across diverse regions.
  • Established network and strong relationships within the maritime industry.
  • Experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales in global markets.
  • Familiarity with maritime operations, project cargo, or logistics workflows.
  • Ability to thrive in a consultative, solution-selling environment.
