Job descriptionBachelor’s degree (preferably in Maritime Studies, Shipping, or Business Administration). Minimum of 3 years of experience in dry bulk chartering, prefixure operations, or related commercial roles. Strong knowledge of Handy and Supramax market segments. Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
The role of Assistant Manager – Prefixure (Dry Bulk) offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the commercial and operational success of a leading dry bulk shipping division.
This position is ideal for maritime professionals experienced in dry bulk chartering and vessel operations who thrive in a fast-paced, analytical environment

Responsibilities
- Monitor freight rates, vessel availability, and dry bulk market trends.
- Support prefixure chartering decisions through detailed market analysis and intelligence.
- Assist in the negotiation and execution of spot and time charter contracts.
- Coordinate closely with operations teams to ensure voyage compliance and optimize vessel utilization.
- Provide regular reports and updates on market conditions, vessel performance, and chartering status to senior management.
