Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end-to-end production operations to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality output of pet food products.

Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in alignment with demand forecasts, inventory goals, and sales targets.

Manage and guide production teams, ensuring proper manpower planning, task allocation, training, and performance monitoring.

Maintain strict adherence to FSSAI guidelines, food safety standards, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Continuously monitor production metrics such as output, yield, wastage, and efficiency, and drive improvements to achieve operational excellence.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and process improvements to optimize cost, reduce wastage, and enhance productivity.

Oversee preventive maintenance of machinery and ensure minimal downtime in production.

Support introduction of new products by developing and standardizing production processes for smooth rollout.

Prepare and manage the production budget, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Maintain complete documentation, reports, and compliance records in line with internal and statutory requirements.

Build a strong, motivated production team culture with clear accountability, discipline, and continuous skill development.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in

Food Technology or Food Science

(mandatory).

3–5 years of experience

in food manufacturing or processing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Strong understanding of

food safety ,

quality control , and

manufacturing best practices .

Proven ability to manage large-scale production, manpower, and operational planning.

Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Passion for pet nutrition, product quality, and process excellence will be an added advantage.
