Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
Oversee the entire SCM function including procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
Develop and implement effective SCM strategies aligned with business goals.
Purchase Order (PO) Generation & Vendor Management
Manage PO generation and ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Identify, evaluate, and register vendors while ensuring timely negotiations for the best commercial and contractual terms.
Build strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply quality and service.
Material Dispatch & Logistics
Ensure smooth and timely material dispatches in line with customer requirements and project deadlines.
Monitor logistics activities to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with E-way bills and challans.
Material & Inventory Management
Lead material planning, stocking, and distribution to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Maintain and review stock reports regularly to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
Implement best practices for warehouse and material management.
Invoicing & Documentation
Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and payment processing with accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
MIS & Reporting
Generate SCM-related MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
Analyze stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics to improve efficiency.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational objectives.
Drive process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time.
Key Requirements
Qualification : B.Tech in Electricals or Electronics (Mandatory).
Experience : Up to 20 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
Strong expertise in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing .
Excellent understanding of E-way bills, challans, MIS reporting, and stock management .
Proficiency in ERP / SCM software and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
