Position Overview
As a Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and closing high-value deals.
This is a strategic role that requires deep industry knowledge, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to deliver consistent sales performance in a competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Understand customer needs and tailor solutions that meet their business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, pre-sales, product, delivery) to drive successful client engagements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospects.
- Lead contract negotiations and close deals with key clients.
- Track pipeline progress, prepare regular sales forecasts, and report performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).8- 10 years of experience in B2B sales,Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.Strong understanding of solution selling, consultative sales, and customer engagement models.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strategic thinking with the ability to analyze complex business situations.Proficient in CRM tools (e., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).Willingness to travel as required(ref : iimjobs.com)
