Athenahealth - Senior Associate - Product Management

Description : Position Overview :

The Senior Associate, Product Management will drive innovation within our Medical Coding domain, serving as the Product Owner for a dedicated scrum team based in Chennai. This role is responsible for translating complex business and clinical coding needs into scalable product capabilities that improve coding accuracy, automation, compliance, and throughput.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, data science, UX design, and operations teams to design and deliver products that enhance revenue cycle performance while maintaining high standards of compliance and user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Ownership & Strategy :

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for a defined Medical Coding workstream within athenahealths Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) platform.
• Develop and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog aligned with company objectives and user needs.
• Partner with senior product leadership to shape strategic initiatives, define measurable outcomes, and influence roadmap direction using data-driven insights.
