Data Visualization Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Looker Specialist to support our analytics and data engineering teams. The ideal candidate will combine deep Looker expertise with a strong understanding of data modeling and performance optimization . You will play a key role in stabilizing, optimizing, and elevating our Looker ecosystem , ensuring our business teams can access fast, reliable, and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary subject-matter expert for all Looker-related needs — including troubleshooting, optimization, and best practices.
• Audit and enhance existing LookML models, explores, and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data structures and semantic layers in BigQuery.
• Implement governance and version control standards across Looker assets.
• Provide technical guidance and ad-hoc training to analysts and business users on Looker capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, optimizing query performance, and improving dashboard response times.
