Job descriptionWe are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals currently working at an AWS L5 level or equivalent, with strong experience in supporting production, internet-facing systems. You will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, triaging alerts, scripting automation, and ensuring system reliability and performance. Support production systems including Windows Server and web application servers. Manage Active Directory and related services. Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Bash, VBScript, etc., following company standards. Handle AWS-hosted applications, especially EC2 instances with load balancers. Triage production alerts / outages using detailed runbooks and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Ensure compliance with IT operations best practices : configuration management, change control, security, monitoring, and automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams with a 2-hour overlap with EST time zone. Strong experience with Windows Server OS and Active Directory. Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, etc.). Hands-on experience with AWS, especially EC2 and load balancers. Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI / CD. Solid understanding of IP networking, routing, firewalls, and protocols (SMTP, HTTP, DNS, ICMP). Knowledge of enterprise IT operations concepts and best practices.
