Role Overview :
As bp transitions into an integrated energy company, the Customers & Products (C&P) business area is establishing a Business and Technology Centre (BTC) in Pune, India. The Industrial Delivery Manager will join the Competitiveness Delivery team within GSC to lead projects that improve cost competitiveness in the Industrial space by driving transformational changes in product and raw material portfolios.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Delivery & Management
- Lead and manage a portfolio of projects focused on enhancing cost competitiveness for industrial products.
- Oversee day-to-day project management including timelines, milestones, risks, interdependencies, resources, budgets, and value delivery.
- Ensure adherence to Project Management Office (PMO) standards, tools, and processes, including regular status and assurance reporting.
- Track and report on the value delivered by projects through established governance frameworks.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Technology, and Regional teams to align project objectives and maximize success.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers across multiple organizational levels.Support or lead ideation activities to build a pipeline of opportunities for cost competitiveness initiatives, including market visits and deep dives.Portfolio Optimization
Contribute to shaping and designing an optimized portfolio of products and raw materials to deliver long-term value and efficiency.What You Will Need to Be Successful :
Education & Experience
Graduate with 12-15+ years of experience in the lubricants or chemical industry.Functional and leadership skills necessary to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.Technical Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of formulated products and applications, with a preference for knowledge of industrial and lubricant applications.Proficient in data analysis and analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI to derive insights, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and manage relationships across teams and organizational levels.You Will Work With :
