Landscape Estimation Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Landscape Estimation Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for landscape projects — including hardscape, softscape, and lighting works. This role requires strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and coordination with design and execution teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Review landscape drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates.

Carry out

quantity take-offs

for all landscape elements (softscape, hardscape, lighting, fabrication work, and site furniture etc).

Prepare and maintain

BOQs, rate analyses, and cost breakdowns .

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for material rates and quotations.

Support the design team in providing

cost-effective design solutions

and

value engineering

inputs.

Assist in tender documentation and bid preparation.

Evaluate variation orders and prepare cost impact assessments.

Maintain an updated database of material and labor costs.

Ensure all estimates comply with project specifications and standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

Bachelor’s degree

in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field.

3–7 years of experience

in estimation for landscape or civil construction projects.

Strong understanding of

landscape materials, construction methods, and BOQ preparation .

Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software

Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills : Knowledge of

landscape materials

and

plant material estimation .

Experience with

tendering procedures

and

value engineering .

Familiarity with local market rates and supplier databases.
