Job Summary
We are seeking a
highly skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer
to lead project planning, scheduling, and controls across a prestigious portfolio of developments, including
5-star heritage-themed hotels, master-planned villa communities, high-rise towers, and large real estate projects . The role requires strong expertise in project scheduling, resource loading, monitoring, and reporting to ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards
Key Responsibilities
Project Scheduling & Controls
Develop and maintain
master project schedules, WBS, resource-loaded schedules, milestone charts, and cash flow forecasts .
Ensure construction sequencing and methodologies align with project goals and statutory approvals.
Apply
Primavera P6 / MS Project
to manage multi-package contractor schedules.
Progress Tracking & Reporting
Develop and administer
reporting systems (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
aligned to management requirements.
Collect and validate
progress data, manpower and equipment deployment , and productivity reports.
Prepare progress dashboards, S-curves, catch-up programs, milestone charts, and recovery measures.
Track actual vs. planned financial progress
Undertake all statutory project reporting in compliance with
RERA Authorities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
Performance & Contract Administration
Maintain logs for drawings, approvals, deliverables, submittals, and progress reports.
Track
claims, extensions of time, and dispute resolution processes .
Apply
PMP methodologies such as Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to track time and cost performance
Billing & Certification
Review and certify
RA (Running Account)Bills
submitted by site teams and contractors.
Conduct joint site measurements and verify executed quantities against BOQ / scope, maintain measurement books (MBs) in standard Formats
Certify contractor payment certificates based on
actual progress, quality checks, and compliance .
Support reconciliation of quantities and cost tracking during project closure.
General Responsibilities
Provide planning and billing inputs during review meetings.
Align planning and reporting systems with company policies and industry standards.
Assist in
budgeting, estimation, and value engineering exercises .
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Specific Requirements (Planning Engineer Role)
Graduate in Civil engineering with 10–12 years’ proven planning and project controls experience, preferably with leading real
estate developers or major contractors .
Expertise in planning and controlling large-scale projects in
hospitality, luxury residential, and township / master-planned developments .
Strong knowledge of
construction methodologies, IS codes, quality, HSE standards, and project controls .
Hands-on experience in :
Primavera P6 & MS Project
(scheduling and controls)
MS Office Suite
AutoCAD & Estimation software
Excellent skills in
analysis, coordination, and management reporting .
Strong
leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
General Requirements (Applicable to All Positions)
Proven ability to deliver real estate development projects within best feasible timeframes, ensuring
highest standards of quality, safety, and value engineering .
Computer literate with hands-on experience in
MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
and relevant project management software.
Strong oral and written
communication, reporting, and documentation
skills.
