Palo Alto Firewall Engineer - SDWAN / WLAN

Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru South for a Palo Alto Firewall professional with 12+ years of experience.

The day-to-day tasks involve managing, configuring, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Firewalls, ensuring optimal security measures are in place.

The role also includes conducting regular security assessments, implementing firewall policies, and collaborating with the IT team to enhance network security.

Job Description :

To install, support and maintain the Palo Alto suite of products.

The Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of security infrastructure systems and equipment.

This position will be involved remote site troubleshooting and support of complex Data Centre solutions.

Responsibilities :

• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN).
• Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices.
• Design, Deploy and Manage firewalls, Palo Alto.
• Monitor network performance and integrity.
• Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
• Responsible for LAN installation including switches and routers.(Cisco and HP).
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
• Mentor team members on technical issues.
• Create, oversee and test security measures (e. access authentication and disaster recovery).
• Pro-actively review and maintain client infrastructure.
• Communicate with users when needed.
• Maintain complete technical documentation.
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability.
