Job Description
coordinating and tracking ocean shipments, preparing and managing all necessary import / export documentation, and communicating with various stakeholders like shipping lines, customs brokerage, and customers. Key duties include booking cargo, ensuring compliance with regulations, updating shipment statuses, and resolving logistical issues to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
A strong understanding of international shipping terms (Incoterms), customs regulations, and export compliance laws.
A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in ocean freight forwarding or a similar role is often a requirement.
Experience with freight management software, such as CargoWise, is highly desirable
Familiarity with U.S. export compliance regulations, including AMS / ISF / FMC filing.
