We seek a Marketing Associate – E-Commerce & D2C Sales to boost online sales and enhance the visibility of Thieme books on marketplaces like Amazon and our D2C webshop, focusing on increasing revenue and optimizing performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on Amazon Vendor Central, including handling Purchase Orders (POs), managing inventory, and resolving any operational issues.
- Develop and update engaging Brand Content on Amazon, such A+ Content and managing the Amazon Brand Store, to enhance brand presence.
- Manage the Amazon Transparency Program, from enrolling products to generating codes and tracking performance.
- Actively protect the brand by managing programs like Brand Registry to detect, report, and remove counterfeit products and unauthorized listings.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's online shop, including troubleshooting issues and collaborating with developers to improve site performance.
- Keep all product information accurate, up-to-date, and disseminated with relevant teams and external platforms.
- Plan, run, and optimize paid campaigns across Amazon, Google Ads, and social media platforms to maximize ROI.
- Plan and execute promotional events and activities across all online channels for seasonal sales.
- Collaborate closely with regional online bookstores and smaller marketplaces to improve product visibility and organize joint marketing campaigns.
- Develop and manage the affiliate marketing program to drive sales via third-party partners.
- Identify, negotiate, and onboard new affiliate agents and institutional partners (e.g., educational organizations, relevant platforms) to expand the program's reach.
- Track affiliate performance, manage payouts, and actively grow the program through new partnerships and ongoing optimization.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field2+ years of direct, hands-on experience in E-commerce Marketing and Online Retail Sales, specifically within the D2C sector.Practical experience managing Amazon Vendor Central and / or Seller Central operations.Proven ability to run and manage campaigns across Amazon Advertising, Google Ads and Social Media Platforms.Experience creating A+ Content and managing the Amazon Brand Store.We offer the following benefits to our employees :
