Oracle CPQ Lead / Architect - Solution Design & Implementation

Description : About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Oracle CPQ Lead / Architect to design, implement, and optimize Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) solutions that drive operational efficiency and sales automation.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud, proven leadership skills in end-to-end solution delivery, and a strong understanding of enterprise integration with CRM and ERP platforms.

This is a strategic, high-visibility role that requires both hands-on technical depth and architectural leadership to ensure scalable, robust, and future-ready CPQ implementations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Own the end-to-end architecture and design of Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions aligned with business and IT strategy.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, ensuring system performance, usability, and maintainability.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents to capture detailed technical specifications and solution components.
• Define integration patterns and architectural frameworks for connecting Oracle CPQ with CRM, ERP, and third-party systems.
• Ensure adherence to Oracle CPQ Cloud best practices, data governance, and security standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers in implementing CPQ modules and configurations.
• Develop and maintain BML (BigMachines Language) scripts and BMQL queries to address complex pricing, quoting, and approval logic.
• Customize Oracle CPQ layouts, workflows, commerce rules, and document generation processes.
• Design and develop UI enhancements using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
• Integrate Oracle CPQ with CRM / ERP systems such as Oracle Sales Cloud (OSC), Salesforce, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and JD Edwards (JDE).
• Build and maintain integrations using SOAP, REST APIs, WSDL, and XSLT transformations.
• Collaborate with middleware teams to establish secure and reliable data exchange frameworks.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data consistency across systems.
• Lead multiple concurrent Oracle CPQ initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and functional consultants to ensure project alignment and success.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and solution validation to project teams.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement, innovation, and automation initiatives.
