Sr. Business Analyst

Business Analyst

Is a liaising member between Software development team, IT team and business stakeholders (Exam & Admission teams across locations campuses), 3rd party software companies. Primary responsibility is to understand the digital transformation of processes, procedures, data, & spot potential for software development, and create plans to maximize production and efficiency of software users.

Assist decision-makers receive insights and recommendations based on data-driven platforms that s built for purpose.

Job Summary

A skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team who will be responsible for gathering, understanding & analysing requirements, create processes diagrams, flow charts, data management practices, visualizations & presentation of data / information to various users & stakeholders. Identify improvements required & work with teams in developing approach / workflows that enhances efficiency and productivity.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent English communication, and a deep understanding of university / academia exams & admissions operations and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering for Examination & Admission assessments Processes

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements.

Data Analysis

Process modelling using UML 2.0 diagrams, Flowcharts, Data Flows, etc.

Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.

Work with Software Solution Development partners for designing technical and process solutions that meet needs and objectives.

Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes to meet requirements.

Work with IT and other departments in the customer location to implement solutions and ensure they align with business goals.

Stakeholder Communication

Documentation

Create detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and solutions.

Education

Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with business process modeling and documentation tools.
