Full Stack Engineer (Backend Focused)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on backend development and hands-on DevOps experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for building robust APIs, architecting backend systems, deploying scalable services, and ensuring infrastructure reliability and security.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js (JavaScript / TypeScript).

Build and maintain frontend interfaces using React.js.

Design RESTful APIs and work with database systems (SQL / NoSQL).

Manage deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure using AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.).

Build and manage Dockerized services and deploy them on ECS Fargate.

Implement serverless functions where applicable for faster iterations.

Follow and enforce security best practices across the stack.

Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure system reliability.

Collaborate with product, QA, and other engineers to ship features end-to-end.

Must-Have Skills

2+ years of professional experience in full stack development.

Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Good experience with React.js and modern frontend development.

Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially ECS Fargate, Serverless (Lambda), IAM, CloudWatch, etc.

Experience with Docker and container orchestration.

Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI / CD pipelines.

Knowledge of web and cloud security best practices (e.g., IAM, encryption, secrets management).

Familiarity with Git and agile development practices.

Good to Have

Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus).

Experience in working with event-driven systems and messaging queues.

Exposure to microservices architecture.
