System Verification Engineer II
The System Verification Engineer II is responsible for creating automated configuration and test scripts that enhance the efficiency, reliability, and performance of products flowing through AHEADs integration facility. Automation will be created for various hardware, including but not limited to, server systems, Edge AI devices, virtualization equipment, storage devices, and both wired and wireless networking equipment. The role will work closely with other departments such as, sales, product engineering, production, and operational technology to design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans for various hardware components. We are looking for an autonomous problem solver that is focused on creating raving fans through excellent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with other department leaders on issue resolution and process improvements
- Be an active role on the System Verification Engineering Team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design test plans accordingly
- Develop and maintain software tests for system verification, including functional testing, data harvest scripts, integration testing, and performance testing
- Drive development of Forge architecture through feature enhancements and additions
- Document test procedures to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability
- Manage tickets for the team ensuring prompt response times
- Assist with creation / updating / training of ISO processes and procedures
- Executing verification services (including but not limited to) :
- a. Performance testing
- b. Compatibility testing
- c. Software Image creation and deployment
Skills Required
BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field experience5+ years of related experienceProven experience in developing in Python, Bash & PowerShell for system verificationProficiency in Windows / Linux / Unix operating systemsStrong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologiesExperience with version control systems such as GitKnowledgeable about testing computer componentsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications
Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI / CD) pipelinesFamiliarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or RedFishKnowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.Cisco certifications a plusIn-depth computer component knowledgeWhy AHEAD :
