About the Role
The Clinical Lead within the i.am Program provides strategic leadership and clinical supervision to a dedicated team of peer and non-peer youth workers, who deliver psychosocial support and suicide aftercare services to children and young people.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders and service partners to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care. The role involves monitoring outcomes and satisfaction, facilitating intake and review meetings, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and reporting obligations. Additionally, the Clinical Lead supports continuous improvement, contributes to policy development, and provides clinical supervision to staff within the i.am Program.
The Clinical Lead role presents an excellent next step for a senior clinician interested in taking on a leadership role that utilises their clinical knowledge and experience.
What you need to have :
Recognised tertiary qualification in Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy or other relevant field.Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Post-qualifying experience, including demonstrated experience and in depth understanding of therapeutic modalities, mental health assessment and practice relevant to young people (aged 6 - 25 years).Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to crisis and high-risk situations, when required.Demonstrated ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with young people, family members and carers seeking help in a non judgmental mannerDemonstrated experience working with young people with mental health and related problems including substance abuse, physical health, and vocational / educational problems.Demonstrated experience providing supervision, for staff and / or students.Current Police Check (not older than 3 months)NDIS Worker Check and NSW Working with Children CheckValid NSW drivers licence, with ability to drive vehicles in licence C classYou could benefit from :
