Key Responsibilities
Design and develop machine vision systems for automated inspection, measurement, and quality control.
Configure and program vision hardware & software to meet project needs.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate vision systems with robotics and automation equipment.
Develop and optimize algorithms for image processing, object detection, and defect detection.
Conduct system testing and validation for accuracy, repeatability, and reliability.
Troubleshoot issues related to image processing, cameras, lighting, lenses, and automation setups.
Provide technical support and training to production, operators, and maintenance teams.
Document system architecture, workflows, SOPs, and maintenance procedures.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in machine vision, deep learning, and industrial automation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
Should have 5-8 Years of experience.
Proven hands-on experience in developing & deploying machine vision solutions in industrial environments.
Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or C# .
Experience with vision platforms like HALCON, Cognex, OpenCV , etc.
Excellent understanding of image processing, pattern recognition, and optics.
Familiarity with automation technologies, sensors, and robotics.
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
Deep learning and AI-based vision system experience.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet / IP, Profibus, etc.).
Exposure to CAD tools and design software.
