Job Summary :
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for delivering technical interventions on-site including installation, training, maintenance, and repair of equipment. The role involves ensuring operational efficiency of machines, providing customer support, managing service-related finances, and supporting sales and dealer teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support at customer sites to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Provide on-site training to end-users and operational staff to ensure proper usage of machines.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
- Offer technical support to the sales and dealer teams to drive business development.
- Successfully complete technical training programs and tests to maintain high standards of service.
- Manage service-related billing and invoicing processes; support AR (Accounts Receivable) collection.
- Monitor and control individual service costs to meet financial targets.
- Maintain and manage personal inventory including spare parts and tools.
- Perform technical tasks as assigned by the team leader or supervisor.
- Use technical management systems accurately for data entry and reporting.
