Role : IAM Senior Engineer (IGA)
Overview
The IAM Senior Engineer will be responsible for the design, build, and documentation of all key elements of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) infrastructure and services as part of the overall identity security program.
This role is accountable for ensuring uniformity of services, adherence to standards, and consistency of infrastructure delivery. The IAM Senior Engineer will collaborate with application teams, architects, and external partners to deliver secure and compliant identity solutions.
The position focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level IGA platforms such as Saviynt, SailPoint, or Oracle Identity Manager to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
IGA Platform Engineering
- Design and configure IGA modules (preferably Saviynt), including Identity Lifecycle Management, Access Request, Role Management, and Access Certification.
- Develop and maintain connectors for target systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow).
- Customize workflows, rules, and policies using Beanshell scripting and JSON.
Integration & Automation
Integrate IGA with enterprise applications via JDBC, REST APIs, SCIM, and related protocols.Automate provisioning / deprovisioning processes and implement RBAC / ABAC models.Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to enable CI / CD pipelines for IGA deployments.Governance & Compliance
Implement access certification campaigns aligned with SOX, PCI, and GDPR requirements.Support audit and compliance reporting using IGA analytics and dashboards.Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and operational procedures.Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with IAM architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the IGA roadmap and long-term strategy.Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage deliverables across sprints.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.6+ years of experience in IAM / IGA, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Saviynt.Strong scripting skills (Java, Beanshell, PowerShell, Python).Experience with identity lifecycle, access governance, and compliance frameworks.Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS integrations.Strong collaboration skills with ability to engage architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.Experience working in Agile methodology.
