▷ Immediate Start : Group Head - SEO

Pepper (www.peppercontent.in) is building India’s largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals, and 40+ global languages.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Head - SEO to lead our search team and drive our search engine optimization efforts to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful SEO strategies, managing a team of SEO professionals, and delivering measurable results for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategy Development : Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility, improve website rankings, and drive qualified traffic and leads for clients.

2. Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure the team achieves individual and collective goals.

3. Client Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO clients, build strong relationships, and effectively communicate SEO strategies, performance metrics, and recommendations to drive client satisfaction and retention.

4. Technical SEO : Oversee technical SEO audits, website optimizations, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal website performance, crawlability, and indexability.

5. Content Strategy : Collaborate with content teams to develop and execute content strategies aligned with SEO goals, including keyword research, content optimization, and link building initiatives.

6. Analytics and Reporting : Utilize data-driven insights to monitor SEO performance, track key metrics, and provide regular performance reports and actionable recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.

7. Stay Updated : Stay abreast of industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO and digital marketing to continuously innovate and enhance our SEO offerings.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic search growth and delivering results for clients.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing SEO teams.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO best practices.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex SEO concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, or SEO-specific certifications are a plus.
