Designation / Role : Computer Curriculum Specialist – Math & Science

THE POSITION
The Curriculum Specialist for Math & Science will design and implement robust, future-ready curriculum modules that integrate computational thinking, coding, and conceptual depth across Mathematics and Science. This role will shape digital literacy while enhancing problem-solving and analytical capabilities among students.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Design & Development
- Develop integrated, cross-disciplinary curriculum frameworks in alignment with NEP 2020, CBSE, and international benchmarks.
- Design coding-infused lessons and STEM modules tailored for different grade bands (Primary to Senior).
- Create digital-first lesson plans, projects, and assessments aligned to math and science learning outcomes.
Technology & Computational Thinking Integration
Incorporate programming languages (Scratch, Python, etc.) and logical reasoning into Math & Science teaching frameworks.Develop interactive simulations and coding exercises that reinforce scientific and mathematical concepts.Promote computational problem-solving and algorithmic thinking in classroom practices.Resource & Content Development
Design student workbooks, teacher guides, interactive presentations, and project templates.Collaborate with multimedia and tech teams to develop e-learning modules, simulations, and gamified assessments.Ensure curriculum materials are inclusive, inquiry-based, and aligned with real-world applications.Professional Development & Training
Facilitate teacher training programs on integrating computer-based tools in Math & Science instruction.Guide educators on implementing STEAM labs, coding clubs, and hands-on learning environments.Provide ongoing coaching on emerging educational technologies and digital pedagogies.Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Research and benchmark global trends in STEM education, coding, and AI in schools.Pilot new programs and evaluate their effectiveness using data insights.Regularly update the curriculum to stay aligned with technological advancements and academic best practices.Collaboration & Strategic Implementation
Work with instructional designers, data analysts, and school leadership for curriculum rollout and feedback loops.Support the integration of coding into inter-disciplinary projects and annual student exhibitions.Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment of curriculum across grade levels.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, Education, or related fields.Minimum 8 years of experience in curriculum design or teaching STEAM subjects.Proficiency in programming languages (Scratch, Python, HTML / CSS, etc.) and edtech tools.Strong understanding of pedagogy in Math, Science, and technology integration.Excellent content development, instructional planning, and communication skills.Preferred Skills
Certification in coding instruction, STEM facilitation, or educational technology.Familiarity with platforms like Tynker, Code.org, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Google Suite for Education.Experience in implementing project-based learning and design thinking in classrooms.Knowledge of assessment design and tracking learning outcomes for STEM skills.Passion for fostering creativity, curiosity, and innovation in learners.
