Job description5–12 years in SCADA / MES engineering Hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA (Gold Certified – Mandatory) Strong MES knowledge (OEE, downtime, traceability, SPC) Proficiency in SQL, Python / Jython, and Ignition scripting Experience with OT / IT integration and industrial protocols Familiarity with ISA standards and cybersecurity best practices Experience with Ignition Edge, Perspective, Reporting Exposure to IIoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT) Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes and cloud integration Certifications in OPC UA or industrial IT / OT
Job Overview :
Seeking a certified Senior Ignition SCADA Developer to lead the design and deployment of SCADA / MES solutions using Inductive Automation’s Ignition platform. Ideal for professionals with strong industrial automation experience and a passion for digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, configure, and deploy Ignition SCADA / MES applications
- Implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting
- Integrate OT systems (PLC, SCADA, MES) with IT systems (ERP, cloud, databases)
- Develop secure data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA
- Manage SQL and time-series databases for performance and reliability
- Lead Industry 4.0 initiatives and mentor junior engineers
