The Role

We are building a next-generation fintech platform with deep integrations into banking systems, handling high transaction volumes and mission-critical financial operations. As a Tech Lead – Backend, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining the system architecture, driving engineering excellence, and leading a high-performing backend team.

This is your chance to shape a scalable, secure, and reliable financial platform from the ground up. You’ll combine strong hands-on backend engineering with technical leadership, ensuring delivery of enterprise-grade solutions in the fintech and banking ecosystem.

What we’re looking for

• 8–12 years of backend engineering experience with at least 2–3 years in a lead / architect role.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS (or equivalent frameworks), with deep understanding of microservices.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.), schema design, and query optimization.
• Solid experience with asynchronous programming, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
• Hands-on experience integrating with banking systems (UPI, cards, payments, reconciliation, ledgers).
• Strong knowledge of system security practices, authentication / authorization, and data protection.
• Experience designing and managing high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and deployment strategies.
• Ability to design and implement high-level and low-level architecture with sound design patterns.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and set engineering best practices.
• Bonus : Exposure to regulatory compliance systems (RBI, PCI, GDPR).
