More About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP Basis administrators.
• Ensure effective workload distribution, incident management, and escalations.
• Drive adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• SAP Basis Administration
• Manage and support SAP S / 4HANA, BW / 4HANA, HANA Database, and associated components.
• Perform system installations, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Manage system refreshes, client copies, and transport management.
• Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning of SAP systems.
• Solution Manager (SolMan) & GRC
• Implement, configure, and maintain SAP Solution Manager functionalities including ChaRM, Monitoring, EWA, and System Landscape Directory.
• Manage and maintain SAP GRC for access controls, user provisioning, and compliance monitoring.
• SAP Cloud & Integration Platforms
• Support and manage SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration), SAP Web Dispatcher, Fiori, and other web-based SAP applications.
• Ensure integration and connectivity between on-prem and cloud systems.
• Governance, Security & Compliance
• Implement best practices for SAP system security, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with the security team to manage user roles, authorizations, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to audit requirements and IT security standards.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with SAP functional, development, and infrastructure teams.
• Partner with vendors and managed service providers for escalations and support.
• Provide regular updates to IT leadership on system health, performance, and risks

Key Skills

Preferred Certifications

SAP Certified Technology Associate in S / 4HANA and / or HANA DB.

SAP Solution Manager or SAP GRC certifications (preferred).

ITIL V3 / V4 Foundation or higher.

Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) would be a plus.
