Site Reliability Engineer

The position exists to deploy the products and their updates ensuring smooth infrastructure and configuration management for robust project delivery.

Technical Skills Required :

• Operating System (Linux & Windows), Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Scripting (bash / python preferred) etc.,
• Have a strong understanding of containerization and orchestrator technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Docker Swarm to enable workloads.
• Networking.
• Database : MSSQL / MySQL, Cloud Technologies – AWS / GCP / Azure, Understanding of Frontend and Backend Technologies and Build Tools (maven, gradle, angular), Powershell, Monitoring : ELK stack, grafana stack.

Job Responsibilities :

Manage on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless communication with an understanding of networking, between systems between systems with a broad understanding of networking.

Manage the deployment of microservices applications and build the infrastructure from scratch, utilizing Kubernetes and Docker to deploy the entire application stack.

Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.

Administer source code management, automation tools (including access management in GIT, Jenkins, Registries, etc.), and configure servers for various environments such as dev, SIT, UAT, and production.

Set up and debug different tools used as part of software stack such as Kafka, Mongo DB, RDBMS, RabbitMQ, etc.

Set up CI / CD pipelines for automated build & release.

Build automated processes wherever possible using adequate tools and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, etc.

Review, verify, and validate project software code, while also taking on responsibilities for incident management, including the ability to conduct root cause analysis for any aligned incidents
