Role : Senior People Operations Associate
Location : Delhi or Bangalore Office (hybrid / flexible office days) or remote (India)
Start date : ASAP (applications being accepted on a rolling basis)
Salary : 10 LPA - 15 LPA (commensurate with experience and aligned with GBL salary bands)
Length of Commitment : Minimum of 12 months
Role Summary :
We are expanding our PeopleOps team and we’re excited to welcome a Senior PeopleOps Associate who will be instrumental in fostering a people-first culture. This role is key to supporting the growth and scale of GBL by helping streamline processes and create smooth, efficient systems that positively impact our team members' experience.
The Senior People Operations Associate will play a key role in shaping the people strategy at GBL - embedding DEI, strengthening engagement, and shaping inclusive communications across the organization.
You’ll be leading programs that drive belonging, engagement and recognition while ensuring our systems and policies reflect our values of care and inclusion. You’ll act as a bridge between strategy and lived experience - turning ideas into meaningful practices that improve how our people connect, grow, and thrive at work. You will contribute to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment, while also ensuring the day-to-day responsibilities associated with people operations.

What will you do?
- Lead implementation of GBL’s DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) strategic initiatives.
- Design and roll out DEI training programs (unconscious bias, cultural competence, inclusive leadership).
- Maintain dashboards to track and analyse DEI metrics (representation, pay equity, promotion trends, etc.) and identify trends and support data-driven decision-making. Design and develop decks and reports for various team discussions and presentations.
- Embed inclusive hiring practices (structured interviews, anti-bias training, and accommodations).
- Enable active engagement among GBL alumni and current team, build a community of people associated with GBL
- Establish partnerships with diversity-focused groups.
- Shape and sustain inclusive internal comms.
- Ensure policies (Culture Handbook, Inclusive Communications Workplace Guide, Reasonable Accommodation, etc.) remain accessible, updated, well-communicated and integrated into everyday practices.
- Document, implement, digitize, automate, and work to improve processes, procedures and programs relating to the team member lifecycle
- Enhance people processes across the employee lifecycle - including onboarding, engagement and wellbeing initiatives, mentorship programs, and offboarding, etc. - ensuring equitable and inclusive experiences for all team members.
- Continuously innovate and meet the needs of a growing organization, and strive to provide an excellent employee experience, keeping employee engagement and wellbeing at its core.
- Stay plugged into market trends to ensure GBL is an employer of choice, develop a keen understanding of the entire team member lifecycle, and recommend process-oriented and / or operational solutions to improve the team member experience

Who are you?
Ideally, you bring :
Bachelor's Degree with related majors e.g., Human Resources (HR), Industrial Psychology, or Business Management, we’re also open to applicants from diverse educational backgrounds!3–5 years of experience in PeopleOps, HR, DEI, internal communications, or employee engagement.Deeply curious and passionate about people and culture and building strong, people-centred systems that support team members across their entire employee lifecycle.Curiosity and a willingness to learn, with a collaborative approach, paired with initiative, and a commitment to innovate.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively (verbal, written, facilitation) at multiple levels within the organization.The ability to work within a distributed team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.Strong problem-solving, prioritizing, and organizational skills - with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and occasionally ambiguous environment.Analytical ability to gather insights from surveys / feedback and turn them into actions.The ability to use discretion and handle highly sensitive information.What should you be comfortable with?
