Assistant Manager - Plumbing

Job descriptionStrong engineering knowledge in Plumbing / Fire Fighting systems (drainage, water supply, LPG / CNG, fuel systems). Familiarity with building construction methods and MEP coordination. Proficient in English communication and computer tools (spreadsheets, databases). Skilled in pipe sizing, pump calculations, and tank sizing. Knowledge of international and GCC codes, especially Dubai / Abu Dhabi regulations. Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and ELV systems. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience with BIM tools like Revit and Navisworks is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate Plumbing / Fire Fighting drawings with architectural, civil, HVAC, electrical, and ELV layouts.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications, productivity norms, and project standards.
- Resolve technical issues with site teams and contractors.
- Obtain drawing approvals and maintain drawing logs.
- Monitor productivity, maintain ISO documentation, and support quantity take-offs.
- Identify additional work and advise the Project Manager.
- Participate in quality assurance and prepare record drawings.
