Position Overview
Creatigrity Technologies is looking for a Desktop Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills to provide end-to-end IT support across hardware, software, network, and communication systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience resolving Outlook, LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi, VOIP, and hardware issues, while coordinating with service providers and vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Email & Outlook Support
- Create, configure, and delete Outlook user accounts.
- Troubleshoot Outlook email sync, login, and configuration issues.
- Manage mailbox permissions, PST files, and connectivity with Exchange / Office 365.
- Networking & Connectivity
- Troubleshoot LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, and DNS / DHCP issues.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, escalating major outages.
- Assist in IP configuration, subnet troubleshooting, and switch / port issues.
- VOIP & Communication Tools
- Troubleshoot VOIP-related issues including Communicator, Access Metrix, and softphone clients.
- Ensure proper connectivity and call quality across systems.
- Hardware & System Maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to RAM, hard disks, SNTP, printers, desktops, and peripherals.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and upgrades.
- Coordinate with desktop suppliers and vendors for warranty claims / replacements.
- Service Provider Coordination
- Liaise with Internet Service Providers (ISP) to resolve outages and downtime.
- Coordinate with UPS vendors to ensure power backup availability.
- Manage AMC vendors for desktop and hardware support.
- General IT Support
- Provide L1 / L2 IT support for end-users on applications and system-related issues.
- Handle software installations, updates, and license management.
- Monitor and report on IT infrastructure health.
- Maintain asset inventory, IT documentation, and ticketing systems.
- Shift & Communication
- Provide support during night shift operations.
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders for seamless IT support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field.2–5 years of experience in Desktop / IT Support.Strong knowledge of Outlook, Office 365, LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting.Familiarity with VOIP tools and hardware components.Hands-on with IT ticketing systems and remote desktop tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills to interact with service providers and internal teams.Willingness to work in Night Shift.
