Job Title : Assistant Superintendent - PMS

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise scheduled export / import of the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) database between office and vessels, and implement software upgrades released by developers after proper testing.
• Communicate with PMS developers regarding system issues and enhancements to improve productivity.
• Liaise with contractors for the development of new vessel databases according to company-specific requirements.
• Monitor and track vessels’ overdue PMS jobs, critical spares status, and shutdown requests monthly, providing detailed reports to management.
• Conduct training for office and ship staff on PMS functionality.
• Visit vessels for database installation, upgrades, and on-board training.
• Create and update spare parts inventory in the vessel database based on vessel feedback.
• Continuously audit and review individual databases to detect anomalies and implement corrections as required.
• Handle back-end management of PMS database software and generate specific reports as requested by management.
