Software Development Engineer - Test I - Quality Assurance

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET 1 - QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Web, mobile automation testing using Appium. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our Web & mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to identify issues early, improve test coverage, and contribute to delivering a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities :

• Design, execute, and automate test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand new features.
• Write clear, reusable test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential quality gaps.
• Report defects with detailed logs, steps to reproduce, and validations.
• Assist in root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Ensure automation is integrated into CI / CD pipelines and continuously monitor and improve test health and coverage by fixing flaky or failing tests.
• Leverage AI-powered QA tools and adopt industry best practices to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Actively coordinate across teams, contribute to sprint activities, and take full ownership of test quality and defect management.
